The Detroit Pizza Bar is a Modern Trendy Eatery with a full-service restaurant and bars complete with a rooftop terrace. The focus of Detroit Pizza Bar is of course pizza, offering vegan and gluten-free options along with a full urban Italian menu. DPB is a hybrid between fine dining and casual dining restaurants. We seek to disrupt the urban dining model in two ways first; by offering more responsive tables and customer service.
Location
Detroit Pizza Bar will be located in the Liv|6 neighborhood. The physical address is
7316 West McNichols St, Detroit MI. This will be a 4,500 square foot commercial
building, with a rooftop terrace that will service 198 patrons.

Waitress responsibilities and duties
Serve customers
One of the primary duties of a waitress to serve customers, which requires the take customer orders, relay them to kitchen staff and deliver food and beverages. Waitresses have a high level of familiarity with menu items and restaurant policies.
Clean and prepare the dining area
Waitresses may review cleaning checklists and make sure they are completed before the restaurant opening. They check the dining area throughout their shift to ensure it’s presentable and free of debris. This part of the job may also involve busing tables on occasion.
Manage payments
Waitresses manage both cash and credit card payments. This can include taking payments from customers and making changes, as well as entering payments in the restaurant’s point-of-sale system.
Waitress qualifications and skills
Customer service - excellent customer service skills, an outgoing personality, and the ability to successfully listen to and respond to customers are important to position
Coordination and lifting - waitresses lift and carry heavy and awkward trays of drinks and food; maintaining a high level of energy is also vital
Conflict resolution - head waitresses respond to customer complaints and resolve conflicts between waitstaff, restaurant personnel, and diners
