Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to act as a liaison between customers, operations personnel, and vendors. The Vendor Relations Specialist plays an integral role in the overall success of our vendor relationships. The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring the timely onboarding of all vendors and will work to ensure that all vendors are in full compliance with Legacy Group Policy and applicable laws.

Duties and Responsibilities:

On-Demand recruitment of technicians of many trades throughout the US & Canada.

First point of contact for escalated vendor calls.

Ability to build business relationships with vendors in order to increase retention rate.

Train and coach vendors on Legacy Group SLA’s and requirements including invoice discrepancies.

Utilize strong communication skills to deliver both positive and negative feedback to vendors.

Qualify work scopes and categorize vendors with the correct profile trades.

Negotiate vendor rates based on trends of quantity and spend.

Analyze top spend areas and preemptively recruit when needed.

Track and publish documentation of remote vendor and areas by trade.

Handle W9, COI, and vendor contract compliance of all newly onboarded vendors.

Qualifications:

One (1) or more years of facilities management experience.

One (1) or more years of experience managing sub-contractors and vendors.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Microsoft Excel pivot table knowledge preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks.
