Responsibilities
The Facilities Services Support Specialist plans, develops, evaluates and coordinates the supplies, services and office support for the Facility Services Department.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years previous experience in related field. Previous procurement experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Skills:
Advanced skills/abilities with computer systems and software packages.
Budget skills and the ability to organize and work independently.
Ability to compose routine correspondence and reports.
Ability to edit documents for grammar, punctuation, etc.
Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to withstand varying job pressures and effectively prioritize related tasks. Demonstrated interpersonal and effective communication skills that promote cooperation and teamwork.
Ability to work credibly and effectively with all levels of staff.
Knowledge of payroll and personnel policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with confidential information.
