Your ability to assess, diagnose and treat Legacy Clinic patients will ensure that proper care and support are given. Throughout your work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll lend compassion and thoughtful insights in the treatment of patients.
The Nurse Practitioner, as a primary care provider, is responsible for the patient throughout the course of treatment, including reviewing clinical history, providing the physical examination, making the diagnosis, and treating both chronic and episodic disorders. Works in collaboration with the team and seeks the advice of a team physician or consulting physician whenever a case falls outside the scope of his/her expertise. The Nurse Practitioner may be involved in consultation, research activities, preceptoring of students, and development of patient education program.
Education:
As required by licensure.
Experience:
Clinical experience requirements are dependent upon the specific position and include a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
Skills/Knowledge:
Keyboard skills and the ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
