In Plano, TX, Legacy Travel is hiring experienced Travel Agents and inexperienced, passionate-about-travel enthusiasts to help people solidify their travel plans. Travel Agent Responsibilities:

• Explore travel options and create impeccable itineraries for clients
• Complete onboarding and your training period to learn all about our company and how to perform well in your position here.
• Attend trainings and webinars to become specialized with specific destinations knowledge
• Collaborate with team members and work autonomously and independently once you’ve gained some experience.
• Review budgets, and plan trips accordingly.
• Stay up to date on changes within the tourism industry, trends in travel, and book according to each client’s unique needs.
• Monitor restrictions on travel and find the best prices.
• Book all clients' travel needs and make special requests and customizations happen when requested.
• Effectively communicate with clients pre/post-travel.
• Successfully manage your time and workload.
• Guide and relay information about travel during COVID as well as any new information regarding travel restrictions or guidelines.

Qualifications:

Legacy Travel Agents build relationships with diverse customers. We take time to understand their wants, anticipate their needs. and implement the best agendas, packages, services, attractions, and products to match their travel style.

You should be 18 years of age or older, fluent in English, and be authorized to work within the US. You also need to live within a commutable distance to our office in Plano and be comfortable working in an office atmosphere.

We encourage service industry workers, recent college grads, career change-seekers, and experienced Travel Specialists to apply today! Previous experience in hospitality or tourism is a potential plus, but not required by any means. We will train the right people.
