Mission Driven – Great Fit for an Experienced Accounting Professional Seeking Purpose


Looking for an experienced accounting and finance professional or accounting leader who is mission driven and wants to add to an already amazing culture at a stellar non-profit Company here in Omaha. This role is UNIQUE in that when in the office, the individual will be working in the same building where the direct support is being provided that fulfills the mission of the Company. This person will be able to see the immediate impact on those supported, knowing their role with the Company assists in providing that support.


Given the impacts, this person needs to be an independent thinker with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The accounting and finance department is lean – we are seeking a Director of Finance who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and be a do-er – this person will be a jack of all trades Director helping with everything from mentoring the current team, financial reporting preparation, to posting and reviewing journal entries, completing and reviewing month-end close procedures and reconciliations, to grant / audit / annual budget support and much more.
