Description :
WE BUILD PREMIUM ALUMINUM TRAILERS BECAUSE LEGENDS ARE MEANT TO LAST!
This position will work within teams to weld aluminum and steel enclosed and aluminum open trailer frames.
- GTAW-AL (TIG) components in all positions
- GMAW-AL (MIG) components in all positions
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
- Follows all pre-established installation and quality methods, procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency of work
- Reads order-specific job travelers and / or engineered drawings to ensure each order is produced to specifications
- Completes all job duties within given time constraints
- Cross-trains between several different jobs
- Cleans and maintains work area
- Pursues continuous improvement to improve efficiency of job duties and workflow
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient with GTAW-AL(TIG Aluminum) / GMAW-AL (MIG Aluminum)
- Previous welding experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Needs good visual judgment to notice errors and / or defects
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Solid job history including more than 1 year at previous or recent employer.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Willingness to participate in welding tests to showcase your capabilities.
- Must be physically capable of safely lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. with or without an accommodation
- Requires wearing personal protective equipment
- Requires ability to hear and respond to radio communications
- Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
