The Role:
The VIP Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of workers in the VIP areas throughout the venue, with a focus on excellent customer service and guest satisfaction. They oversee and/or participate in stand set-up and closing procedures, ensuring that all workstations remain clean and sufficiently stocked, orders replacement stock from runners as necessary. The VIP Supervisor should possess a strong and in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu offerings, must be knowledgeable of all positions, and willing and able to fill any position in the location, if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable of POS system (Appetize) to facilitate refunds/voids, handle credit card issues, and assist with processing payments and closing out procedures.
- Distributes and tests Kallpods prior to the start of each event to ensure they are connected to the network and arefunctioning properly.
- Provides training to servers on how to properly utilize Kallpods for effective service.
- Troubleshoots any issues that arise with Kallpods during shows and escalate to the venue technology supervisor or management when necessary.
- Ensures that all premium areas have proper stock at the beginning and end of each event.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of the food and drink menu.
- Inform staff of alcohol and kitchen cut off times.
- Ensures all food and beverage meet quality standards and are delivered to guests in a timely manner.
- Supports the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food if necessary.
- Ensures servers are attentive and providing exceptional service to guests at all times.
- Maintains high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction in the venue’s premium locations.
- Has a strong ability to problem solve and resolve guest issues independently.
- Performs and delegates opening, closing, and additional duties as needed.
- Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Prefer two (2) to four (4) years working in a fast paced, high-end club, restaurant or catering location.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
- Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
- Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services
Licenses & Certifications:
Required - RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring, if necessary)
Preferred – SERVSafe and City of Philadelphia Food Safety Personnel Certificate

Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
