The Role
The Premium Coordinator is primarily responsible for delivering a superior level of service to Suite Members. The coordinator will support the Director of Premium Services in day-to-day operations and coordination of event information.
The Premium Coordinator should be a professional, customer service-oriented, well organized, and positive individual. The Premium Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Director of Premium Services.
Responsibilities
- This position is focused on servicing and retaining customer relationships.
- Responsible for maintaining, account options, weekly ordering reminders, responsible for creating new accounts in POS, processing payments along with all other aspects of account management while providing exceptional customer service and hospitality.
- Oversees the general operations of assigned catering events and club operations, including supervising the Catering / Club Servers, Club Concessions Attendants, Suite Attendants, and Club Bartenders on Event Day
- Support the in setup, catering walks, suite walks, cold & hot food push and all other operational needs required for successful event execution.
- Will assist with payment invoicing and collections and work diligently toward a % collection rate each year.
- Provide prompt and professional communication to Suite guests, catering clients, and internal staff.
- Maintain accounts, communication with the kitchen based on special Suite guest and catering client request.
- Additional responsibilities as determined by management
Requirements
- Prior sports sales / service / hospitality industry or equivalent experience is required.
- Possess strong team-oriented work ethic and a positive, Service-First attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work within a team environment, aiding and supporting team members.
- Previous working experience with Suites or Premium POS system.
- Able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays). Suite Coordinators are expected to be available, at minimum, days prior to an event and event day.
- Must be available for all Scranton RailRider games, catering and large stadium wide events.
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
- Follow and encourage team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
