Operations Supervisor Injection Molding

Leggera Technologies is a Tier 1 automotive supplier of injection molded magnesium components. This is a very important hire with the opportunity to grow as our company grows.

We are looking for experienced automotive operations injection molding supervisors for afternoon shift and for midnight shift.

Responsibilities

1. Manages the shift operations (up to 15 employees) for production and maintenance in injection molding & secondary processes.

2. Responsible for daily/weekly production output to meet customer requirements of quality, quantity, and delivery.

3. Ensures all employees are following work processes, and manages the shift.

4. Ensures that team members always work in a safe manner following all established safety rules and regulations.

5. Ensures safety and 5S good housekeeping requirements are maintained.

6. Directs operators, process techs, and maintenance techs to achieve production shift requirements.

7. Ensures that “Quality System” requirements are fully followed in manufacturing.

8. Handles personnel matters at plant level.

9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

10. Ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must have minimum 5 years of experience in Injection Molding preferably in the automotive industry.

Must have 3 years automotive operations supervision experience.

Good problem solving skills.

Ability to motivate team members to achieve daily production targets with quality.

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)

Ability to Read and understand instructions and work processes.

Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work within deadlines.

Must have high attention to detail and organized in approach.

Physical Requirements Include:

Working on plant floor with your team during entire shift.

• Weekend availability is required as needed (overtime eligible)

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
