What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf and Grounds Crew position at Lehigh Country Club?
Lehigh Country Club is looking for Full Time, Part Time and Seasonal Grounds Crew members to join our team.
Responsible for assisting in the overall maintenance of the grounds including the golf course at a private country club in the Lehigh Valley. You will be provided a great outdoor work environment performing ongoing maintenance projects and routine operations sometimes using specific machinery used in the golf industry. Flexible schedule available; nights, weekends and early mornings. Hourly pay is determined based on experience in the position to which applying.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Mowing of greens, tees, and fairways. Prior experience preferred but not required, training on certain machines done on site.
- Machine and hand raking sand bunkers.
- Rotary mowing, string trimming, back pack and hand blowing, debris raking of all club grounds.
- Working individually and collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure the grounds are properly maintained.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available mornings from April to October.
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Driver’s License is a plus
- Must be reliable and able to follow oral/written instructions.
- Must be able to work on an individual basis or as part of a group.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for more than 8 hours per shift
- Must Pass background and drug check
