- Associate's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care
Education - Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care
Experience - Required:
- less than 1 year
Experience - Preferred:
- 1 year Experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:
- Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to operate and trouble-shoot diagnostic equipment.
Licensure - Required:
- Respiratory Care Practitioner Temporary PA state license valid for 1 year or until RRT board exam is taken Upon Hire
Certifications - Required:
- RESP REG - Respiratory Therapist, Registered NBRC RRT Credential within 1 Year
- Health Services\ACLS Will schedule certification course after hire if needed within 60 Days
- Health Services\BCLS - Basic Life Support Will schedule certification course after hire if needed within 30 Days
- PALS � Pediatric Advanced Life Support For all inpatient RRTs Will schedule certification course after hire if needed within 60 Days
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Applicable only to Children's Hospital Respiratory Therapists and those who are crossed trained in neonatal respiratory therapy. Will schedule certification course after hire if needed within 60 Days
