1901 Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Portal Developer to support a DOD customer. The Portal Developer will create and maintain SharePoint sites to support visualization of customer metrics as well as dissemination of information to the customer. This position supports the programs charged with unification of the DoD Fourth Estate DAFA’s common-use IT services.

Pay Range
Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00

1901 Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Portal Developer to support a DOD customer. The Portal Developer will create and maintain SharePoint sites to support visualization of customer metrics as well as dissemination of information to the customer. This position supports the programs charged with unification of the DoD Fourth Estate DAFA’s common-use IT services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of user stories, sprint planning, and test case development / execution within an agile project environment.
- Perform the development and administration of sites, libraries, and list for SharePoint portals on various domains.
- Provide system engineering, operations, and sustainment of applications, back-end infrastructure support, and software licensing management.
- Build and customize internal and customer-facing production websites, to include testing new document templates, assisting with organization business rules to be applied to metadata, testing of new features, web development and systems administration, and workflow trouble shooting.
- Create data visualizations from multiple sources using SharePoint and Power BI
- Support customers and multiple teams through any service questions or issues and taking appropriate helpful action to initiate repairs in a timely manner.
- Provide advanced training to analyst, disseminators, and organizational administrators.
- Ascertain new areas where SharePoint can be leveraged to streamline business practices.
- Drive clear and concise team communication and correspond accordingly with clients.
- Monitor operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management, client teams, team leads and other stakeholders.
- Drive for continuous improvement and feedback at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 or more years of related work experience; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 3 or more years of experience in Information Systems with specific focus on SharePoint Development and Administration.
- Active Security Certification
- Experience with SQL.
- Proficiency with MS SharePoint, Access and Excel.
- Intellectually curious with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SharePoint Designer to build new sites, and maintain existing sites.
- Hold a current DoD secret clearance or able to obtain one, Must be a US Citizen
- Able to commute to the customer site in Ft. Meade MD when required
- Currently possess Computing Environment Certification (CIW Web Developer, Certified Web Developer, or CSS3)
- ITIL v4 certification
