Leidos is seeking a Scheduler to support the Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel program, delivering cutting edge technology to the U.S. Navy. This position is 100% remote with up to 10% travel to Ventura County, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and employ industry standard tools and practices to maintain the overall program IMS.
Coordinate with uniformed and contractor Operations personnel to stay informed of ships' operational employment, to include test and evaluation schedules.
Track schedule changes and communicate the schedule verbally or in writing to program management, articulating schedule status and forecasting schedule risks.
Coordinate with uniformed and contractor Operations personnel to stay informed of planned USV operational employment, test and evaluation schedule, and maintenance availabilities.
Conduct analysis to identify issues which put the schedule at risk.
Coordinate with the Program Manager, Operations Lead, Training Lead, and Sustainment lead to ensure all stakeholders are aware of schedule risks.
Assist the program management team in preparing reports and deliverables to the government.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, and 2 years of prior project management support experience, or Master's degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Four (4) additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in scheduling projects using an industry accepted scheduling tool. (Primavera OR Microsoft Project, etc.).
Practical knowledge of the professional discipline, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Communications: must accomplish clear and concise general and technical writing; prepare and conduct effective technical presentations; tactfully coordinate with a variety of project stakeholders, uniformed and civilian management, and peers.
Provide thorough project monitoring and reporting.
High degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the remainder of the MS Office suite.
Solid understanding of Project Management and Project Management Office.
This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior US military service, or civil service in DoD, preferably Navy or USCG.
Experience on autonomous vessel, vehicle, or aircraft projects.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent researching, decision-making and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail.
Strong record of maintaining confidentiality and adherence to data protection and other guidelines.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
