Job Description
The AEGIS program is looking for an AV Architect to work with us in Huntsville, AL (or a NASA center) office. This is an exciting opportunity allowing the qualified individual to support NASA in its critical mission.
Primary Responsibilities
1.Prime Contract technical POC for the A/V subcontractor relating to design, configuration, and implementation procedures and issues.
2.Oversee conference room assessments and orders
3.Tier II support for installed conference rooms
4.Create and update configurations guides and procedures for implementations
5.Assist field Operations with implementations, troubleshooting, etc.
6.A/V TPOC with VoIP team for all call manager procedures, testing, configuration, and planning
7.Remote configuration of conference room devices as required
8.Support WCS as SME in meetings, calls, etc. as required
9.Provide real-time installation support for network and device configurations
10.Track and process revisions
11.Attach current analysis report to ESD RITM
12.Forward analysis reports to field Operations, WCS and designates
13.Tier II engineering support for legacy conference rooms
14.Engineering design and project management for NICS legacy room upgrades
15. Manage legacy work package (WP) in partnership with the Leidos business office (B/O)
Basic Qualifications
10 years progressive experience in the AV industry.
QSC, AMX, Crestron knowledge and programming skills.
Knowledge and ability to troubleshot Teams and Cisco devices with the assistance of the system admin. Strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot and walk a user/onsite tech through processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and adjust audio issues and correct DSP settings with Shure, Biamp, QSC Extron and other manufacturers.
Familiarity with Crestron, Poly, Cisco and other Teams native devices.
Detail oriented.
Ability to review AV designs to make sure they adhere to our standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Certs from Crestron, Extron, Biamp etc desired.
At least 10 years of experience as an AV engineer.
Strong Excel skills.
NASA/government experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent years of experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $152,750.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
