Global Network Language Analyst II

Description

The Cyber and SIGINT Solutions Operation at Leidos has an opportunity for a Global Network Language Analyst – Level 2 to work at various locations. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the customer language mission. In this mission you will conduct scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials; recovering essential elements of information; gisting, translating and transcribing; compiling and updating operational working aids and databases; and drafting intelligence reports. The Global Network Language Analyst performs tasks required to exploit communications in the computer network domain and process associated voice and/or graphic language materials in support of operations. This position is contingent upon contract award.

This position may also be available in Augusta, GA, San Antonio, TX, and Wahiawa, HI.

Primary Responsibilities

Performance of the following tasks constitutes acceptable Computer Network Operations (CNO) experience: Translating materials to enable monitoring networks in order to detect precursors/indicators of physical and/or cyber attacks and intrusions, or analyzing cyber incidents; translating materials about developing methods to detect, prevent and/or counter cyber events; translating materials to help identify and characterize CNO threat actors; producing translations to assist in target development and exploiting adversaries’ communications for defense of US cyber interests.

Basic Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph required.
• Associate of Arts (AA)/Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent.
• Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language(s) into idiomatic, standard American English, as specified in the TTO. Scores from a NSA Civilian Language Test of Record, valid at time of resume submission, may be used as acceptable validation for text translation and audio translation skill level(s). Skill level shall be documented within two (2) years prior to resume submission.
• Equivalent of six (6) years full-time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing and working Computer Network Operations (CNO) in the required language(s). o
• In lieu of the Associate’s Degree an additional two (2) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted.
• Translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duty for at least three (3) of the six (6) years experience.
• At least thirty (30) months experience performing language processing in Computer Network Operations.
• Reporting shall be the primary duty for no more than one (1) year of the required six (6) years experience
