We are hiring a DevOps Engineer that is excited to apply their experience with Kubernetes and configuration-as-code technologies. You would work across R&D activities and contract programs developing and deploying Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) solutions using commercial and proprietary products and services.
Required Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI Polygraph. Current clearance is not required, but candidates that possess an active clearance and the requisite skills/experience will be given priority. US citizenship is REQUIRED to obtain this level clearance.
Primary Role/Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, test and monitor applications developed internally and by third parties in Kubernetes clusters.
Become proficient in the administration, integration, maintenance, and monitoring of products that address various aspects of ICAM.
Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.
Make recommendations and implement strategies to improve team productivity and velocity.
Develop solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
Influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of related experience.
Two (2) years of experience managing environments with automated configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
Two (2) years of experience deploying, testing, debugging, and monitoring workloads on Kubernetes.
Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Experience building OCI container images using Docker, Podman, or similar tools.
Experience using Git to track and manage changes to configuration and code.
Experience using JSON and YAML for configuration.
Experience developing scripts in Bash, Python, or other high level languagesa similar scripting language.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience managing environments with automated configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
Experience deploying, testing, debugging, and monitoring workloads on Kubernetes.
Experience using Kustomize or Helm to deploy workloads to Kubernetes.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines to build, test and deploy software.
Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience developing software in Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, or other high-level languages.
Experience using SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth for single sign-on and authorization.
Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Active and in-scope security clearance.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $63,050.00 - $113,975.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
