A Network Systems / STE-STN Administrator Tier 3 is need to support our Mega Center contract IT support Team. The successful candidate will work under our IT manager maintaining the STE STN health of the Servers, network architecture, to include workstations, printers, Cisco, Juniper switches, spanning 1 building and 4 floors containing up to 650 end-users. As part of the hardware support, you will be repairing, upgrading, applying patches to resolve IAVA vulnerabilities while working closely with the ISSMs. Other responsibilities include researching the latest technologies and making recommendations on future technology direction to the IT manager as well as tracking of SCIF assets. Expect to have significant interaction with the Leidos end users on a daily basis. On occasion there will be hands on hardware, taking down and setting up different user spaces.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extensive STE / STN work will be required. Working Daily with ISSOs as well as customer Intranet reporting applications.
- Maintaining and creating written documentation for the processes to Maintain STE / STN for the customer.
- Maintaining Nessus Server, scans and working with ISSOs to find solutions to Vulnerabilities found in reports and Appling those to the network of over 700 PCs.
- Assist with compliance reporting / data generation / compliance with the customers Secure the Enterprise (STE) efforts working closely with the ISSO.
- Network Connectivity support which includes a local LAN enclave. TCP/IP / Subnetting and VLAN creation required.
- Monitor and maintain health of Uninterruptible Power systems (UPS) located in multiple secure areas.
- Working with others to expand / reconfigure fiber infrastructure, which includes working in zone boxes, Data closets, and in the ceiling.
- Keep hardware and software asset lists up to date and accurate.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES
- Planning and implementing IT enhancements, undertaking project work, and delivering results timely and cost effectively.
- Developing and implementing migration plans and coordinating redesign efforts with the system engineering teams
- Identifying and correcting hardware and software issues.
- Providing network administrative for development, deployment, and problem identification and remediation of the Microsoft Windows enterprise network environment
- Responding to system administration, operations, and maintenance problems while off duty, on an on-call basis.
- Must be willing to continue training on Windows domain support administrator as well as Passive Optical LANs that utilize Tellabs OLT / ONT architectures.
- Occasional help desk responsibilities when the rest of the team is occupied.
- When needed you need to be able to crawl under desks and move PC workstations as well as deploy phones.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- Bachelors Degree with emphasis on Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline and 4 or more years related experience. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered on a case by case basis
- There is need to perform high side domain administration which includes obtaining a specific Network or Security certification.
- A self-starter, excellent communicator as well as the ability to pay attention to detail. Some work includes many steps and the ability to handle detail is a must.
- Intermediate or advanced understanding of:
- Microsoft Domain and WSUS Administration
- VMWARE
- Tenable Nessus
- Microsoft office Word, Excel, Visio and MS Paint
- Networking TCP/IP / VLANS / subnetting, troubleshooting IP routes.
- Independent thinker capable of working proficiently independently as well as within a team.
- Experience with PC and Server hardware and OS maintenance.
- Ability to to crawl under desks and move PC workstations as well as deploy phones.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- ITIL Foundation certification
- CCNA Certification.
- Security TIA Certification.
- Microsoft Certified Professional
- Previous experience working in a SCIF environment and familiarity with the security practices associates
