Printing Press Operator

Job Description

JOB IS LOCATED IN TN, NEAR NASHVILLE. COMPANY OFFERS GENEROUS RELOCATION ASSISTANCE.

Premier sheetfed printing company in TN is busy. Due to expansion and work load the company is searching to hire a Lead Sheetfed Press Operators for 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Read and interpret job orders.
• Make ready, operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art 40" sheetfed offset press.
• Print quality products on schedule meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Check print quality throughout the runs.
• Troubleshoot press problems as they occur.
• Work with pressroom supervisor on job schedules and time specifications.
• Take part in client press okays.
  
  

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience operating multi-unit 40" offset sheetfed presses; experience on Heidelberg, Komori, Man Roland, Akiyama, KBA, etc.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts; days and nights available.
• Good eye for color and registration.
• Works well in a team.
