JOB SUMMARY

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Field Technician to perform various forms of ski lift, gondola and tram maintenance. This role will work directly with customers through hands-on mechanical work and a high regard to safety and reliability of equipment. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $22.00-$26.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with customers to complete timely repairs and maintenance
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures regarding maintenance, repair, safety and compliance
• Perform mechanical repairs to ski lift equipment using hand and power tools
• Troubleshoot faulty machinery & diagnose the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities
• Document maintenance and repairs in LPOA's task management system

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• At least 1 year of heavy mechanical repair experience
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in ski lift maintenance & repair
• At least 1 year of previous NDT experience (MT/PT)
