General Description: We are looking for a Lead Painter / Project Manager with reliable character, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence. There are several responsibilities within this position. Firstly, Personnel Management is required. Typically, there will be 1-2 painters assigned with the Lead Painter / Project Manager to complete a project. Leading yourself and your crew in a positive yet structured culture is vital. Secondly, Time Management is required. Managing a crew requires the efficient use of time and the ability to complete projects within a given timeframe. The ability to efficiently delegate according to strengths is a must. Thirdly, Tool Management is required. From vehicles to sprayers to extension poles to screw drivers, Lemonade provides the painting crew with necessary tools to complete a project. A thorough understanding and care for the tools is expected and imperative. Fourthly, Product Management is required. There are many products within the painting industry available, and it is necessary for the Lead Painter / Project Manager to have a solid understanding of each product they use, the forethought to minimize waste, and keep accurate inventory of paint and stock supplies. Fifthly, Systems Management is required. Lemonade has several systems in place to help govern the communication between client and company and to help facilitate the painting project. The ability to efficiently manage these systems is essential.
Skills/Abilities Requirements:
5 Years minimum painting experience
  • Management experience preferred
  • Experience with Airless and HVLP sprayers
  • Commercial Painting Experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills / Problem solving abilities
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of 3 Painting Reference
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
  • No Tolerance in the following areas (No Tobacco products, Alcohol, Drugs, Foul Language, and Headphones)
  • Work in both residential and commercial environments
  • Work 8 hours per day (M-F)
  • Be able to climb 40’ extension ladders when necessary
Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $20/hour starting pay during probationary period. Up to $30/hour depending on skillsets.
