Building Secretary
Job Posting for Building Secretary at Lenawee Intermediate School District
- Provide clerical assistance and support to the building
- File and maintain all necessary documentation
- Collects and maintains various reports and sensitive information
- Effectively and consistently communicate and interact with staff and the community.
- Performs all secretarial tasks, including but not limited to answering/transferring calls, handling incoming and outgoing correspondences, and maintaining recordkeeping.
- Provides first aid as needed, when appropriate following parents, medical records, medicine distribution
- Assist in the process of registering new students
- Attend all mandatory staff meetings, events, or trainings
- Other duties as assigned by the building Principal
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year in a general office position, preferably in an educational institution.
- Experience using eFInance, Infinite Campus, Canva, and Google preferred.
- Reliable method of transportation
- High moral character, integrity, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple projects
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day with frequent, prolonged standing/walking/sitting
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be able to see, hear, and move intermittently or use prosthetics that will enable you to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
