Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage processing personnel and their workflow, ensuring high morale, excellent customer service and maximum volume and profits.
- Supervise and manage processing staff
- Handle issues with borrowers, team members and Loan Officers
- Manage day-to-day operations including originating, processing and closing loans
- Interview and hire processing associates
- Provide coaching and promote a professional team effort, while conducting performance planning and reviews, disciplinary actions and terminations
- Collaborate with lenders, escrow, division escrow coordinators, Loan Officers and disperse necessary information
- Participate in company’s strategic planning as directed by manager
- Set goals and objectives for processing staff that are measurable, achievable and in line with the company’s mission
- Lead and direct processing associates in the implementation of new programs and systems
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of all borrowers’ loan status information on a weekly basis
- Ensure department efficiently and accurately manages a pipeline of loans with an emphasis on customer service and quality
- Communicates with Center Managers on training needs and issues
- Create and maintain tracking systems for closing dates, lock-in, revenue collections and funding schedules
- Attend status meetings and special functions
- Maintain status of all loans from application through approval, including pre-qualification, preliminary underwriting and closing of approved loans
- Responsible for regulatory compliance and quality control
- Remain current with our Broker programs and maintain their forms for submission
- Keep current with investor guideline changes and communicate any changes as needed
- Minimum 5-7 years of loan processing experience or equivalent mortgage background
- Minimum 5-7 years supervisory and management experience in the mortgage industry
- Automated processing and closing experience
- Current knowledge of closing and title requirements
- Current knowledge of loan processing and automated underwriting systems
- Current knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA and industry underwriting guidelines
- Current knowledge of self-employed borrowers, partnership and corporation tax return analysis

Compensation Overview:
- The base compensation for this position is estimated to be $70,000 to $72,000 annually, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors including employee qualifications and operational considerations.
- This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion.
