Job Overview:
Utility Construction office in Aldie, Virginia has an Office Administration / HR Support position available.

The Office Administrator coordinates administrative services such as general billing activities, data entry, purchase order administration, HR duties, records control, Miss Utility ticket management, job folder organization, and other administrative activities. Candidate will also answer phones and greet in person visitors of the office. This position is based in Aldie, VA but may require reporting to one of our other office locations as needed.

This position requires strong data entry skills and the ability to verify that data has been accurately entered. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information is a must.

Hours: Full time position- Monday-Friday

Pay: Starting at $23/hr – (pay dependent upon experience)

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree or equivalent work experience preferred).
  • 1-3 years of related experience in an office environment
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
  • Knowledge of Miss Utility laws (preferred).
  • Experience with general HR support duties (preferred).
  • Experience with AP / AR (preferred).
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn/understand various billing software. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand; walk – 20% of time.
  • Ability to sit; - 80% of time.
  • Ability to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift or carry heavy objects up to 25lb.
