4- Must have Supervisory / Admisnistrative assisstance experience.
5- Must live within 20 minutes from Livonia MI
Office Manager / Administrator needed for busy and growing Flooring Company in Livonia MI. Knowledge of quickbooks, excel, word required. Job is in an office setting. Remote work not available. Must be detail oriented, have experience, and have the ability to work 40 hours per week. Competitive wages, paid PTO and Retention bonus after 1 year of continuous full time service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Manage returns of merchandise, claims and inventory control.
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Communicate with customers and installers to make sure jobs will go smoothly and efficiently.
- Create forms and folders for sales reps and installers.
- File sales, organize work orders.
- Monitor employees working hours and time off.
- Keep Track of daily, Monthly and yearly sales.
- Let out installers in the morning, and make sure jobs and work orders are complete prior to installations.
- Touch base with suppliers for the latest pricing and new product.
Skills
- Proven work experience as an assisstant manager, Sales Representative, Sales Associate, Administrative assisstant experience
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory and stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree or equivelant is required.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
