Installation Technician

Our family owned, Detroit based company is seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and mechanically inclined individual to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

• Install beverage equipment in accordance with established standards; always maintains safety and professionalism
• Completely and accurately tests installed equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order
• Provides a thorough explanation of equipment, its capabilities and operation to the customer; responds to all questions in a courteous and knowledgeable manner
• Safely operates power tools as needed for installation
• Maintains inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock and that it is in safe operating conditions
• Properly invoices customers and collects payment in a timely manner
• Quotes job installations and collects down payment for job
• Completes necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Driver’s license with DOT medical card preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Previous beverage, installation, or carpentry experience a plus
• Knowledge of basic hand/power tools
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
