Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as anElectrical Engineer! This role is hands on with design, development, modification, and analysis of various electronics systems including motor controller and power conversion applications for naval ships and submarines.
- Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems
- roubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed
- Compile and evaluate design and test data
- Analyze, develop, and recommend design approaches
- May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments
- Provide regular reporting of progress and status
- Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
- Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services
- Develop prototypes to retire key development risks as directed
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field at least 3 years of experience in design and product development
- Knowledge of power electronics, power distribution, circuit board design, and/or semi-conductors is much preferred
- Motivated and engaged; comfortable in a team environment but also okay with working independently sometimes
- Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
