Join our Danbury, CT team as a Systems Engineer. We are looking for talented systems engineering experts to support the architecture of complex systems, subsystems, and assemblies in the development of high technology products. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of DOORS and expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MSBE).
- Analyze and apply customer and military specifications to ensure product and project compliance
- Proficiency using IBM Rational DOORS to develop and manage requirements, including the use of DXL scripts to support the configuration control of customer (master) and supplier (elaboration) requirement modules
- Generate design reports for formal customer submittals of requirements modules
- Communicate clearly (written and oral) with all areas of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program management and the customer as required
- Support current Cameo based Model Based Systems Engineering efforts with the goal of being a local site lead developer
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with 2 years of engineering experience
- Fluency using IBM Rational DOORS for requirements management, with some DXL scripting usage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to aid interactions within Engineering, other internal departments, and external customers
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively multi-task and handle changing work assignments, schedules, and priorities
- Fluency with Model Based System Engineering, preferably with Cameo Systems Modeler
- Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
