What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Barback position at Leonessa?
This is a Chef Owned place and we are seeking candidates that are very passionate about beverage, food, hospitality, and growth.
-Works closely with Bar Manager to create and maintain a smooth-running bar operation.
-Ability to work in high pressure situations while keeping calm, cool, and collective.
- Working closely with guests while serving them food and beverages.
-Ability to properly mix cocktails in the proper manner.
-Ability to be creative in their own sense and to promote creativity amongst the team.
- Take orders and affectively and successfully enter them into TOAST POS system.
- Communicate with the front of house Managers and Kitchen whenever needed.
-Promote a positive work environment that is heavily team oriented. When someone needs help, jump in and help.
- Follows the Steps of Service provided by the Management team to ensure quality and consistency standards are met.
- Proficient time management skills needed.
- Maintains a clean working environment. Set up and break down the bar as needed.
- Have the drive passion to learn and grow.
- Have the ability to upsell products to increase guest check average.
- Have strong organizational skills and ability to multitask as well as being detail oriented.
- Have TIPS certification or is willing to become TIPS certified. ServeSafe certification and First Aid / Choke Safe Certification would be desirable but not mandatory.
- Have Allergen Awareness certification or is willing to become allergen aware certified.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
