What You'll Do*
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll get to do the following:
- Review and process invoices/incoming bills and process accounts in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Filing of A/P related paperwork
- Handle incoming A/P communications, including statement, e-mails, faxes, etc.
- Check, correct and process invoices.
- Review statements to correct issues
- Responsible for daily AP activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets.
- Working on unresolved issues to better the internal and external client experience
Who we are looking for:
- Someone who has proven successful experience in a similar role
- Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is a plus
- High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
- Experience with Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good Decision-making skills- the ability to collect, assess and interpret relevant information and make sound decisions
- Integrity- maintain a high level of integrity in your actions and words
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability and desire to work and participate in a team environment is a must
Working Conditions &/or Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- This position requires but is not limited to lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, listening and speaking with internal and external clients.
