Within our union “Lemoore East” manufacturing facility located in Lemoore, California – Leprino is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support the Plant Controller in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting for the facility and providing statistical analysis and production information relative to the operations. In this role you will also be responsible for the leadership, development, and mentoring to the department’s employees.

• In conjunction the Plant Controller, the Accounting Supervisor is a hands-on collaborative business partner for a multitude of plant departments including, but not limited to, Production Operations, Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Assist in plant-wide initiatives such as organizational change, analytics and problem solving, project management, planning, and the understanding of all financial responsibilities.
• Lead staff development and subordinate cross training efforts.
• Assist driving the annual budgeting process.
• Lead all aspects of the monthly and quarterly closing processes, including preparation of financial documents.
• Own the Plant’s Internal Audit process.
• Maintains timely and accurate payroll and accounts payable records to use for Plant, regional, and corporate financial reporting.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance or Business subject area.
• Five (5) years of proven experience.
• Are a strong leader with one (1) year of people development and developing solutions for sophisticated strategic business problems.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• A Master’s Degree or MBA in Finance or Accounting subject areas.
• Experience working with a food manufacturer.
• Experience working with commodities.
