Contract position available for Pallet Repair at the Les Schwab Distribution Center in Prineville, OR.

This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing pallets throughout the warehouse.

Day Shift position: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm $15.45/hour

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS

  • Repair pallets using power tools and equipment such as nail guns, hammers, skill saws, pry bars, and air compressors.
  • Operate a forklift to stack and move pallets.
  • Some minor warehouse maintenance duties as requested by the Supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Experience with power tools and equipment preferred.
  • Obtain and maintain Forklift certification (provided by Les Schwab).
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Frequent squatting, bending, twisting, reaching and continuous standing and walking. Frequent lifting of 20 lbs, occasional lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment subject to temperature changes and some exposure to outside weather and environment.
