Job Duties
Research, design, and develop computer and network software. Analyze user needs and develop solutions. Develop, build, install, and configure IT solutions. Implement reusable IT components. Translate technical requirements, assist with all stages of test data, and perform script maintenance and updates. Recommend design decisions, investigate performance and process failures, and identify solutions. Develop architectural solutions to enhance stability and performance of infrastructure. Build security, reliability, and scalability into development lifecycle and drive software stack to troubleshoot infrastructure. Build engineering automation and productivity tools to streamline and scale applications in production environment and automate cloud operations.
May telecommute.
Job Requirements
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related, and 2 years of experience in a related occupation. AWS certification required.
Must include some experience in each of the following:
1) Using GitLab CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to develop and deploy applications into production.
2) Using Gitlab, Hashicorp Consul, Hashicorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure AppConfig, and Azure Vault to build process and system integrations, and deployment and integration pipelines.
3) Working with Dotnet, Golang, Python, Ruby, Bash or Java to configure CI/CD environment stages and automate infrastructure upgrades.
4) Designing scalable monitoring solutions for systems reliability, targeting either Linux or Windows systems using Sumologic, AWS Cloudwatch, and Azure Monitor.
5) Working with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, and Chef) for provisioning and configuring in AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
6) Using Kubernetes to host Microservices and setup DKron Cronjobs.
7) Implementing and managing distributed systems and storage solutions using Amazon S3, Elastic File Storage, and Azure Storage Account.
Foreign Language, Licenses, and Certifications
AWS certification required.
