What are the responsibilities and job description for the DAB8 - LSET - Amazon DSP Dispatcher position at Let's Talk Logistics?
Let's Talk Logistics, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, is looking for enthusiastic, team players to serve as dispatchers for the delivery of Amazon packages.
The Dispatcher plays a key role acting as the liaison between Let's Talk Logistics and station management. Depending on schedule, they are the last to depart at the end of each day once all the drivers have returned to station.
Schedule/Working Hours
The Dispatcher’s schedule will be assigned and may be subject to change. There will be occasions such as: Prime Week, Peak Season, etc. where the Dispatcher is expected to cover extra hours.
Currently looking for late afternoon/evening dispatchers.
Responsibilities include:
- Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring "on the road" Chime chat and phone calls during shift and answer any chimes/calls with high sense of urgency, documenting issues when necessary and communicating to the Station Manager as needed.
- Dispatchers must proactively maintain communication with station management throughout the day, to stay on top of any delays that may arise, as well as any potential unforeseen issues that could hinder Delivery Associate progress during their routes.
- The dispatcher needs to know the drivers scheduled for their portion of the week and have ownership of the progression of the team. They should monitor Delivery Associate performance, and assist with coaching or initial training of Delivery Associates.
- Dispatchers should work with management, to understand the vans that should and should not be going on the road. While also knowing where certain vans are in the repair process/preventative maintenance process.
- The Dispatcher is expected to assist “On-Boarding” newly hired drivers, and have a working knowledge of the Amazon portal to troubleshoot potential issues.
- The Dispatcher is expected to keep accurate clock in/out records for the drivers they have on the road.
The Dispatcher is expected to make sure the end of night inspection process takes place. This includes: Organization of gas cards, phones, chargers, & keys, inspection sheets are filled out as needed, phones are being charged, vans are parked in the correct spot, etc.
This job might require frequent walking around the station.

Basic Requirements:
- Prior DSP work experience
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- Must have a New York Driver’s License
- At least 21 years of age
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
