Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is looking for a GENERAL MAINTENANCE / WAREHOUSE WORKER with 6 months of warehouse experience and general maintenance skills (required) to perform general maintenance tasks as well as receive, ship, organize and stock supplies, and load and unload deliveries.

This role is located in Broadview, IL at our 33,000 square foot warehouse.

• Occasional local travel in rental or Company vehicle may be required. 
• The General Maintenance/ Warehouse Worker must have a current drivers license and safe driving record.

The General Maintenance / Warehouse Worker’s Primary Focus:

• Perform daily and emergency repair and general maintenance (including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, grease removal, cleaning and minor electrical work) of facilities and equipment (including but not limited to hot equipment, refrigeration units, compressors, fans, coils, various small parts, burners, pilots, handles, etc.) at assigned restaurant and/or office locations and make related purchases
• Load, unload, deliver, and collect a variety of products and supplies between a variety of locations in a safe, professional, efficient and timely manner
• Maintain and provide proof of current driver’s license, MVR compliance and safe driving history
• Accurately account for and submit expense reports for all work mileage, purchases and other expenses
• Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations and best practices for safety, both on and off the road
• Immediately report any personal or motor vehicle accidents, injuries or parking/moving violations to supervisors
• Perform emergency repair and maintenance outside of business hours
• Maintain availability to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including occasional early mornings, late nights, overnight, weekends
• Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment (including but not limited to thermometers and ladders for overhead work)
• Ability to effectively communicate in order to comprehend and perform/follow job requirements in spoken direction
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
• Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels
• Able to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds 
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
