We’re looking for a Head of Insurance Operations that is experienced, results-driven to launch the
newly created Levelset Insurance Department. You will play a critical executive role in building a
modernized, digital surety and insurance platform for the construction industry focused on data,
technology, and risk management. You will help us shape our overall strategy, technology, operational
procedures, and underwriting support systems.
What you’ll do
- Develop new insurance programs, securing underwriting capacity, drafting underwriting manuals, managing the underwriting team, conduct audit and compliance activities.
- Building a digital Insurtech MGU experience with best in class underwriting team and processes
- Work closely with reinsurance brokers and carriers to present and secure new and existing capacity
- Partner with Product leaders and executives to drive and execute strategy
What we’re looking for
- Influential in setting the strategy and building a modern brokerage and MGU experience with best in class technology across every aspect of the customer journey from the application process through binding and renewal
- Process design and documentation for all insurance operations and support underwriting and brokerage function including operations materials, including ongoing training and compliance
- Lead vendor selection and implementation of technology partners and other services
- Establish strong accounting and finance processes and oversight
- Oversee compliance requirements including license & education management, SOS registration &
renewals, E&S taxes, fees, and reporting. - Support new and existing capacity providers
- Partner with Product leaders and executives to drive and execute strategy
