Levi Hospital, healing mind and body since 1914, is seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the position of Controller.
JOB SUMMARY
Assists administration in the accounting activities of Levi Hospital and its associated entities. This position would have oversight of the business office and supports general accounting functions within all areas of accounting. Duties include month-end close and reconciliation of general ledger accounts with resolution of any discrepancies. Prepares journal entries and workpapers as well financial statements and reports. Participates in financial statement and report analysis. Works alongside and assists the business office, payroll, accounts payable, and materials management functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have knowledge of accepted accounting principles, internal controls, and accounting systems.
Able to organize and handle multiple tasks.
Able to communicate effectively.
Able to work independently and as part of a team and adapt to ongoing change
Has a working knowledge of basic computer software programs including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Working knowledge of Thrive software preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
1-3 years accounting experience preferred.
Flexible schedule, for the right candidate we could work out a four day arrangement
