Electronics Maintenance Technician

Are you looking for a day shift position with an average work week of 3 1/2 days? Our E-Techs work a 2-3-2 schedule from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. $1000 sign on bonus!

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for applying electronic theory, principles of electrical circuits, electrical testing procedures, engineering mathematics, physics, and related knowledge to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment.

• Reads and understands electronic and electrical schematics; draws sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units
• Understands and is able to trouble-shoot and repair solid-state motor drives, solid-state temperature controllers, and computer-based controllers.
• Develop and utilizes electrical schematics, PLC programs, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and plans sequence of operations
• Program control systems to support modifications and improvements
• Utilize various measuring devices and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic issues, and makes decisions regarding problem diagnosis and resolution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills

Ideal work and educational background:

• Minimum two-year college degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology or related field, required
• Experience 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial electrical/electronics
• Must be self-motivated and able to take direction and apply it to the task at hand
• Must be team oriented and able to work with fellow technicians as well as production employees
• Must have a working knowledge of the following: PLC Controls (Allen Bradly, and Mitsubishi preferred), Pneumatics, Electrical AC and DC Circuitry, Servo Drives and Controllers, Sensors (Inductive, Capacitive, Photo Electric)
