Lewis Floor & Home is looking for an experienced Hard and Soft Surface Estimator to join our team. We are seeking dynamic individuals who know will be responsible for measuring for hard surface flooring, carpet, and countertops. The individual must be personable and be able to answer customers questions and follow up on issues as needed. An Estimator must also have experience doing take offs from blue prints. We expect the estimator to have their own transportation.

Responsibilities for Estimator:

  • Measure retail client areas for hard and soft surfaces in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Answer customer questions on site
  • Go to customer sites for inspections and work with installers on the job to ensure that the installation is done properly
  • Follow up on issues as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business related coursework or equivalent work experience in flooring sales, installation, measure/estimating. High School Degree Required
  • 3-5 years install or estimating experience
  • 1-2 years of sales support
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proficient at creating floor designs and reading blue prints
  • Excellent computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Experience:

  • Construction Estimating: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Blueprint reading: 2 years (Preferred)
