Responsibilities and Duties
Set priorities and manage work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions
Policy Reviews and Coverage Reviews
Complete transactions at Insurance Company websites
Identify exposure to loss and recommends appropriate coverages with Sales Executive
Complete renewal applications in coordination with Sales Executive, submit application to appropriate carriers, follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies
Order and issue binders, policies, endorsements and other related items, verify accuracy.
Process renewals in coordination with Sales Executives. Occasionally take lead in the renewal meetings with client, strategy determination, marketing and carrier negotiations.
Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals for word processing as needed
Review audits, verify accuracy and facilitating corrections when necessary
Verify policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections, as needed, between client and carrier
Process incoming mail, email and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately
Determine reasons for requests for cancellations, act to save account; notify Sales Executive. Process and follow up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have 5-7 years commercial insurance agency experience and licensing
Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Technology literacy required
Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency
Experience with AMS360 agency management software is a plus
Designated CISR is a plus
Company Benefits
Standard schedule: 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday. 8am-12pm Fridays. No weekends.
Higher starting pay is available to the extent applicants exceed the minimum requirements
