RECEPTIONIST / PRICING CLERK
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Responsible for performing a variety of general office and clerical functions including but not limited to answering phones, directing calls, ordering supplies, handling all incoming/outgoing mail and greeting customers in a fast-paced environment. Executing daily fuel price changes depending on what the market determines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously; screens calls, transfers caller to correct individual; does not leave a caller on hold for extended period; takes complete and accurate messages when person called is unavailable and distributes messages in a timely manner.
- Provides administrative assistance to Executive Coordinator for Lewis & Raulerson. Including but not limited to typing letters, information research, taking and directing telephone messages, miscellaneous projects, etc.
- Order supplies for company. Manages supplies to ensure everything is stocked appropriately.
- Handles incoming / outgoing mail for multiple companies. Ensures all mail has postage applied and ready by 4:45 each day.
- Performs other administrative or office duties or projects as required or as assigned.
- Provide receipts for customer payments.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to the Executive Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
This individual must be very motivated, very meticulous, a team player with a great attitude and be a true multi-tasker.
The ideal candidate will be very proficient in Microsoft Office products.
This individual will possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma with proven experience in an office setting.
This individual must possess the ability to exhibit and utilize great customer service skills, managing its relationships with both internal and external customers/employees in a manner with which the company is accustomed to.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers, both individually and in front of a group is important. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential.
Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect documents.
No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and fax machines.
Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos and other documents to conduct business.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting. A pleasant demeanor must be maintained at all times with both internal and external customers. Activities include extended periods of sitting occasional fast paced events and extensive work at a computer monitor and/or calculator.
Salary : $10 - $13
