Position Title: Dean - Lexington High School
Reports to and evaluated by: High School Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month ALA – Category I, 40 hours per week.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with educational attainment and experience as specified by the Association of Lexington Administrators (ALA) Salary Schedule Category I. Salary and days may be prorated based on date of hire. Benefits as per ALA contract

Job Qualifications:
Must be Certified or certifiable as Principal/Assistant Principal, in 9-12 by Massachusetts DESE, hold a Master’s degree in Educational Administration, or be able to demonstrate commensurate knowledge, have high school teaching experience, school administration/instructional leadership experience preferred;
Leadership ability in school administration, curriculum development, program evaluation, staff development, school improvement, and staff supervision and evaluation;
Must have demonstrated organizational skills, educational leadership and creative problem solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and, the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous tasks, including the ability to prioritize, manage and organize own workload.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated through the interview process that they have the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents and the extended school community.
