Job Title: Administrative Secretary
Location: Sandhills Primary School
Qualifications: Associate’s degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education with emphasis in secretarial, or related field, supplemented by one to two years of responsible secretarial experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Customer service experience preferred.
Job Goal: Under limited supervision, provides varied and specialized clerical, bookkeeping and secretarial support to administrators, ensuring effective and efficient office/school operations. Works with public to ensure high level of customer service.
Reports to: Principal
Performance Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to):
Terms of Employment: 240 days based on Classified Salary Schedule Grade 10
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy

- Provides varied and specialized clerical, bookkeeping and secretarial support
- Collects, organizes and prepares materials as needed for meetings, workshops, and
- Prepares purchase orders, tracks and processes invoices for payment
- Prepares, maintains, types, copies, files and/or transmits various instructional other functions as requested
- Receives and responds to inquiries, concerns and complaints in areas of responsibility.
- Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as co-workers, materials, schedules/calendars, testing materials, records, reports, memos, forms, correspondence, etc. as necessaryresponsibility other administrators and staff, school administration and staff, vendors, and the general public
- Coordinates special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
