What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at LF Illumination?

Responsibilities:
Include the following but other duties may be assigned:
- Process the shipment all products, materials, and supplies using our ERP system (SAP); schedules shipments (UPS)
- Prepares shipments which includes, inspecting and verifying completed orders, packing, sealing, and labeling.
- Promptly load trucks and deliveries
- Operate a Forklift or Pallet Jack.
- Assist with inventory cycle counting.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- May operate company truck to pick up supplies, parts, or product at local vendors.
- Performs a variety of tasks directed by supervisor and/or management team.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years' prior shipping/receiving computerized systems experience such as SAP desirable.
- Computer Proficient - Microsoft Office - Outlook Proficient
- Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate with employees of the organization.
- Should be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and pack shipping packages.
