Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Expertise Wanted

Dynamic Accounting and Tax Return Preparation firm is expanding. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeping professional to join our team! You will be responsible for using your bookkeeping talents to assist our local business clients grow their businesses. The ideal candidate will live in/near Plymouth, NH, and can work partly remotely. This is a terrific hybrid opportunity with the benefit of some virtual work and a local home office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead with exceptional bookkeeping service to our clients.
  • Record client bookkeeping and entry of accounting data, such as accounts payable/receivable, closing books monthly, preparation of financial statements, and other services as required such as payroll.
  • Interact professionally with clients to provide quality service, managing expectations within established budget and time parameters.
  • Report analysis and findings to management team, with emphasis on finding ways to improve the value of our relationship for benefit of client and team
  • Ability to commit to 20 hours per week
  • Participate in routine team meetings as required
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure professional hybrid work experience

Qualifications:

  • High School Education, with post high school accounting coursework preferred.
  • Previous 3 years experience in bookkeeping, tax and/or accounting.
  • Fundamental knowledge of QuickBooks Pro with minimum 1 year transactional experience in a business/non-profit organization.
  • Experienced with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, as well as confidence to embrace changing technology over time.
  • Willingness to coordinate and communicate with team to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Detail and deadline-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
