We are currently seeking Senior Preventative Maintenance Technicians to join our new and dynamic team in Clarksville,TN as part of the Production Engineering Team!
The Senior PM Technician's primary role is to train employees on presses/equipment in an adviser and coaching role. In addition, this position is responsible for training the PM Technicians for the purpose of maintaining equipment in satisfactory operating condition. This is accomplished by providing for systematic inspection, detection, and correction of incipient failures either before they occur or before they develop into major defects.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for training of Maintenance Technicians on equipment and processes to ensure continuous operation of facilities to operators

Assists Maintenance Technicians in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct

Identify training and development needs through regular conversation and observation

Assists Manager with reviewing PM Technicians performance

Assists in the development and update of PM training manuals

Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions

Check blueprints and/or repair manuals as necessary to maintain continuous operation of equipment

Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or powertools

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventative maintenance actions

Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.

Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery

Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges

Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment
Qualifications:

High School Diploma
-
Over 10 years of preventative maintenance experience preferred
-
Experience in mentoring and/or coaching PM Technicians required

Basic mathematics skills
-
PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) operation experience

Experience with Microsoft Office

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems

Some occasional international travel required
