We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Western USA as part of the LG Air Conditioning Technologies Sales Team! This qualified candidate will be responsible for the overall performance growth of the Oregon, Washington, and Alaska markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for continued sales growth assuring LG Air Conditioning Technologies' HVAC leadership position within the United States. The individual must have strong personal sales, relationship building, leadership, territory management and communication skills at all levels of an organization. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a strong HVAC grasp on the assigned market and the ability to strategically plan for its growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to provide actionable competitive intelligence and regular territorial performance analysis to internal and external sales management.
What you will do;
* Manage independent LG applied representatives (AR) to achieve sales and growth goal objectives.* Developing, maintaining, and monitoring a target list of key design engineers, contractors, architects, owners and developers within the assigned territory while managing the AR representative(s) to appropriate coverage.* Personally selling all LG inverter and control technology products independently and in conjunction with the AR.* Provide ongoing training and education to all customers regarding LG inverter and control technology and the advantages that LG HVAC products provide.* Work with all design customers to influence their HVAC projects to utilize LG as their basis of design.* Assist the customer base in designing their HVAC projects by utilizing LG design and energy modeling tools.* Manage and track the status of projects throughout the sales process to assure pipeline accuracy focused on achieving a higher closure rate.
To be successful you will need;
* A BS, ME or EE degree in a technical subject or equivalent proven related sales/engineering work experience.* 3 years minimum experience in sales establishing owner relationships with consulting engineers, contractors and constructing teams.* 3 years minimum of HVAC design and application knowledge utilizing Chillers, VRF, DOAS and residential/light commercial products.* Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned Western U.S. sales territory.* Must live in the assigned territory.* Self-Starter that is motivated and able to work independently from remote locations.* Strong understanding of project specifications and the ability to incorporate HVAC products into the designs.* Proven and successful experience in sales growth and territory leadership management.
