What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Documentation Clerk position at LGC Limited?
LGC Genomics locations Petaluma and Novato, CA, as well as our sister site in Denmark, represent a focused, collaborative culture of producing mission-critical genomics components, primarily oligonucleotides and supporting reagents, for our diverse customer base. Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Perform daily general administrative tasks including scanning, filing, tracking and maintaining records (e.g. batch production records, document and change control records, controlled documents, cleaning logs, calibration and maintenance records, equipment records).
- Scan and maintain electronic copies of batch production records, quality control reports, calibration and maintenance records in accordance with established procedure.
- Perform data-entry in company databases related to retrieval of records/records management.
- Respond to record retrieval requests and handle record searches.
- Revise documents, as directed.
- Cross train on the company's established Document and Change Control process.
- Act as a runner during facility audits and inspections to retrieve records and/or documentation for review.
Experience required
- 1-2 years of general administrative experience in a fast paced office environment.
Other skills and abilities:
- Professional presence and strong attention to detail is required.

Demonstrated proficiency with common computer software (e.g. Windows, MS Office, databases, etc).
Education, experience and technical skills
- High school diploma is minimally required.
