LGI Homes is seeking a Vice President of Construction for Southern California.

The Vice President of Construction is responsible for all construction operations in Southern California, supervising homebuilding construction to ensure that all homes are delivered on time, on quality and on budget. This role will recruit, select, train, manage and motivate necessary staff to deliver homes that meet company and customer expectations. This role will meet with all new hires, coordinate a staff training program and facilitate training as needed to ensure homes are built according to the LGI Homes construction manual.
The Vice President of Construction will ensure that all necessary contractors and vendors are contracted to construct homes at competitive prices and quality. This position will confirm that construction sites meet local soil erosion program requirements, and administer the LGI safety plan.
Requirements
- A history of success with 5 years of residential construction management experience.
- Experience in California construction is required.
- Confident and goal-oriented with the aptitude for multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and building relationships with employees, vendors, and customers.
- A proven track record of managing a team of employees to success and completing multiple multi-trade projects on schedule.
