Loews Coral Gables Hotel features 242 guestrooms, including 23 beautifully designed suites, 30,0000 square feet of indoor/outdoor flexible meeting space, an expansive 9th floor pool deck, four Miami-inspired dining outlets and more. Located just four blocks from the Gables' iconic Miracle Mile, the hotel is the centerpiece of The Plaza Coral Gables, a 2.1 million square foot mixed-use development showcasing retail space, dining and entertainment experiences. Loews Coral Gables Hotel is the second Loews Hotel to open in South Florida, joining 25 other properties across the US and Canada that make up the Loews Hotels & Co portfolio. Management of Group Revenue Strategy - 60% Manage Group Forecast – 20% Create Group Plug forecast (based on rooms and meeting space availability) Review and Update Definite group wash weekly for monthly forecasts Present group forecast to DOSM/DORM/DOS Review, analyze and edit MARs and Transient Protected – 15% Provide Group Displacement Analysis and Follow Up for Outstanding Business Review decisions – 5% Participate and Provide Analytics for Access Business Review – 5% Evaluate and Approve requests for additional rooms from Sales - Conference Managers and Group Coordinators– 5% Favor rate requests – 2.5% Oversee current Group Histories on all Definite Group Business – 2.5% Assist with renovation displacement scenarios – 2.5% Ensure the update of Group Grids (once a week at min.) – 5% Oversee completion of Sales Month End report (once a month) – 5% Oversee Lead Management and ensure effective distribution by Sales Coordinators Delphi Maintenance – enforce standards and compliance (once a week) – 1% Ensure accuracy of Turnovers / Addendums – 2% Attend Group Pickup Meeting and manages the daily group cut-offs – 5% Customer Service 5% Communicates effectively with other departments to allow operations to best provide “And More” service to guests Is polite, friendly, and helpful to the guests, management, and fellow employees and can interact professionally with all levels of staff, ranging from hourly employees to executives 1% Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times1% Complies with hotel uniform and dress standards and maintains a professional attitude and appearance at all times 1% Have knowledge of, understands, adheres to and models all employee standards 1% Has a thorough and accurate knowledge of hotel facilities and the hours of operation for all food and beverage and recreation/entertainment operations 1% Complies with hotel policies and rules 1% Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area 1% Remains current with hotel information and changes 1% Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards 1% Complies with safety regulations and procedures .5% Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions. .5% Other 5% Notifies immediate supervisors promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance 4% Recycles whenever possible 1% Headquartered in New York City, Loews Hotels & Co is rooted in deep heritage in the hotel industry and excellence in service.
